Gum Gum Fruit is a mysterious cursed fruit that is hard to find. Monkey D. Luffy ate one and he lost the ability to swim! It is also the source of his flexible rubber-like powers. Apparently anyone who eats the fruit, also known as the ‘Cursed Fruit’ will loose the ability to swim, this is a major problem in a pirate world!
